Daily Lit Deviant is an article put out on a daily basis throughout the year that is devoted to showing the work and accomplishments of one writer per article and presenting exemplary pieces of their work. It is based off of bowie-loon123's series of articles of the same name.

Join me in welcoming LadyLincoln as our Daily Lit Deviant for January 2nd, 2014.

LadyLincoln is a warm spirit who is always full of guidance and love. I personally found the literature community through her long-running article series, 30 Writers You Should Discover, which she is always taking suggestions for.

Heartfelt and devastatingly heartbreaking, LadyLincoln writes of her mother.

What deviants are saying about this piece

It's a remarkably straightforward piece that doesn't lose emotional gravitas for a moment.neurotype-on-discord

I really don't have words.Memnalar

The author conveys bittersweet emotion, recollection, and a backbone which refuses to bend, even when death has taken from them somebody so important it feels like a crushing blow which will never heal. Beautifully scripted, masterfully portrayed - a weeping story where the author describes everything in one sentence in the author's comments, and it sums it up beautifully; "I miss you, Mom."pullingcandy

Feelings for and from a person you can't have gently penned.

To suggest someone to be a Daily Lit Deviant, contact me via note with the person you would like to see featured and two pieces of their work. A few words about the writer and their work are welcomed, but not necessary. You are free to suggest yourself as well— and I encourage you to do so!
