This poem was written in the spring of 2010, and was briefly up on DA before I took it down. Here it is again. Criticism is accepted generously, but keep in mind this work is in its final format and may not change.

Meniscus – the curved upper surface of a nonturbulent liquid in a vertical tube.
Supplant – take the place of.
